Hello!
I'm goint to buy a NDS and now I wonder:
Can I play Boulder Dash & Fist 2 with FrodoDS?

I believe the roms included are snapshots of the games. you have to rename the one you want to play to jjr, then press x to load. Are the roms you placed in the /rd folder zipped or .t64, they want play. you have to have .d64 filetype. Regards to .t64 rom files, there are only a few which works at the mo, most will display the device not present. The only .t64 files i got to work are Bombjack and JoeGunn.

All of the roms are .d64 format and they're not zipped. Can't get a single one to work....

tomasN, just checked boulderdash and fist 2, both work fine.
snickasnoo, what games are you trying to play, maybe i can check them for you, there are many different versions of the same game.

Following on from anthonyharris's message a few days ago checked a few *.t64 files last night and these worked for me using the newest version:

Driller
Finders Keepers
Gribbly's Day Out
Microprose Soccer
On Court Tennis 2
Out Run
Pole Position (Atari)
Starglider
Way Of The Exploding Fist
Wonderboy

Just remembered to mention these loaded using the right shoulder button load method.

I was getting worried recently that this project was dead, glad to see things are still being worked on - thanks GPF! :thumbup:

Being you're checking games, could you try some multi-disk games.

I can't get any games the has more than one disk to work at all.

These are multiple disk games. Also if you need games PM I have them all!

I'll take a look tonight. A couple have worked for me, Summer Games II and World Class Leaderboard spring to mind.

Awesome emu! Great work. Grew up with a C64 so its amazing to have a portable one. Still can't get over the touchpad keyboard (Digging frodods and all the emu's with it - pomDS, styx). Frodods is want finally made me cave and get a R4DS.

I've got some multi disk games to play, just saves don't work - Autoduel, Below the Root, Space Rogue and Roadwar 2000. Hoping saves or savestates will one day be added.

Been enjoying Gateway/Temple to Apshai, the Wolfensteins (cant build a new castle but can play the one currently saved when copied to DS - I need to try using pc Frodo to reset the castle and reimport to DS), Impossible Mission, Load Runner and others. Got Gunship to work and fly a bit but now get a roster corrupted error so need to put a new copy on the DS and try to not attempt a save. Also attempted Raid Over Moscow but I've forgotten how to open the hanger doors which is a problem I had even on the real C64 so I just fly around the hanger

EDIT: FYI, I'm using the latest version from this forum and haven't changed any settings in the config file.

While in the air, tap F7 or F5 it'll open the doors. You have to be off the ground before it'll open.

I am a huge Neuromancer Fan. I play it on the PC alot finished it hundreds of times. Also finished Portal on the C64 long time ago. When I try and load disk1 of the game, it just goes to a black screen and nothing else. I can run the same rom in frodo for the PC and it works fine. Harm|
