I heard this place got hacked?

lolololol Blue Crab is the hacker, read his blog, you'll see there. Everyone in the comments hates you Blue, not that I blame them, if I went to a Dreamcast site and you decided to hack it and move it to your own server, I might be a little distraught as well.

I did absolutely no hacking, I assure you of that.

Something that 007cheater did TO me (IP banning me from the entire site) was the "straw that broke the camel's back" in getting the staff to move the site, but I did not move it myself.

Also, I do not own dcemulation.org. I AM an administrator there however (as well as here).

As for why people hate me on that blog, the only thing I can assume is because they're pirates and they don't like my hard-line stance against piracy in the Dreamcast community.

Now, I'd appreciate you not accusing the staff of DCEmulation of hacking 007cheater's site any more, since I've explained to you SEVERAL times that there was no hacking.

And, to answer the question about consolevision. Its a site that died a while ago, sadly. It used to have a very active community back in the day.

The people hating on Blue on Seanbajuice were lead there and lied to.

If someone reads "My site has been stolen from me and I'm planning on taking legal action" without knowing the truth behind it, they're without a doubt going to accuse whoever was involved with the "hacking".

If you need to know, 007Cheatah (present day Seanbajuice owner) trafficked people over to the original DCEmulation by posting news about fake PlayStation, N64, and Saturn emulators for the Dreamcast so he could make some money from ads. I believe he also leaked Segagen (an emulator officially developed by Sega, albeit $#@!ty) for more ad revenue.

From what I hear, he pretty much faded away after 2002 or so. The boards were run by the rest of the staff (who actually gave a $#@! about the Dreamcast scene) for years. In 2008, he returned to the site he abandoned to post links to 'Seanbajuice' on it's front page. BlueCrab wouldn't stand for it, continuously removed it, and eventually was banned by the guy. It pretty much went from there.

If anyone's in the wrong, it's definitely Cheatah. Don't be misinformed.

He can gain money from ads, but he did it by attracting people to his site for commercial emulators and the like, which are illegal. Most of the ad revenue he made was from the people interested in pirating.
