Completely wrong site, and it wasn't so much hacked as liberated from 007cheater (with the support of the staff of the site).

The site you're looking for is http://dcemulation.org .

Always amusing to see people confuse DCEmu with DCEmulation, when the address bar addresses are completely different.

    http://www.dcemu.co.uk
    http://www.dcemulation.... See, longer/different.

Plus I wouldn't take into consideration anything written on an external site, until it's been confirmed by the site in question.

Every time DCEmu (here) goes down for more than two to three hours, I don't always think "Oh, I think Martin's gone on holiday again." which always gives me amusement.

Well "emu" and "emulation" do have very similar names. I never went to DCEmulation. I tried visiting their forums, but they are down (possibly because of the hacker).

Uhm, if you go to http://dcemulation.org/ the forums there are quite alive and fine, and as I said before, it was never "hacked" -- just relocated.

Now, if you're trying to find the forums from the "DCEmu archive" on seanbajuice... That's a different story. Granted, the same posts/posters/etc are all at dcemulation.org .

    Your confusing me.

This place is a different site from the other one?

    The other site got hacked.

The owner of the other site had a backup and
    saved his site.

The hacker bought his own domain and uploaded the hacked site there.

Then the owner found out and didn't like that.

Then you kept getting people who mistook this place for the site that got hacked.

Then those people stay and become active members here instead of waiting for the other site to get unhacked.

    Did I miss anything?

    Yes.

    The other site got hacked.
    No.

The owner of the other site had a backup and
    saved his site.
If by saving you mean putting it back up to intentionally confuse people, sure.

The hacker bought his own domain and uploaded the hacked site there.
I assure you there was no hacking. The site was moved with the consent of pretty much all of the staff (except 007cheater).

Then the owner found out and didn't like that.
Uhh... He actually posted at dcemulation.org at least a couple of times after the move.

Then you kept getting people who mistook this place for the site that got hacked.
You're the first person that I know of that got it confused.

Then those people stay and become active members here instead of waiting for the other site to get unhacked.
Well, since you're the first person to get it confused... Also, as I said, what was dcemulation DOT com moved to http://dcemulation.org/ which is alive and well. There was no hacking.

lolololol Blue Crab is the hacker, read his blog, you'll see there. Everyone in the comments hates you Blue, not that I blame them, if I went to a Dreamcast site and you decided to hack it and move it to your own server, I might be a little distraught as well.

    ?????

dcemulation . com was never hacked. 007 cheater the "owner" of the domain handn't done any work on the site for 5+ years bar posting ads for his own pocket. The staff that did all the work on the site got sick of his $#@! so the bought the dcemulation.org domain and moved the site here.

007cheater has been a chief reason the dc community has been split 3 times (Consolevision, dcemu uk and now dcemulation.org), because of his fake news posts to get traffic and hosting legal software on the site, etc
