beup 0.3 Rev 2 (MSN for DS Clone)

yea, I have a new ds lite with r4, and I have yet to get any homebrew rom's wifi to work, the most I got was a list of APs (and with luck my own ap might appear).
None of those whatever ds lite wifi patch worked.

Anyone know if this will be fixed in the future?

Updated wifi_lib or something?

After lots of google search, I found a comment made by some guy that gave a solution that worked for me.
I changed my wifi channel to channel 10, and magically everything just worked.
not really sure if that will be helpful at all when you're not at home using an AP where you can't just change the channel for...but heck at least it works at home.

Hi my friend got his beup 0.3e to work at my house using my R4 card when he taps SSID on the wifi config it comes up with my router whereas when I try it on my Lite theres no routers

Some possible useful info:
I am using a DS lite
Its white
and got it for xmas 2006

My friend who can find my router has a normal DS

it's been said in different places I've read on the internet that the more recent batch of ds lite has its wifi thing updated so things don't work, exactly when was this update done, I'm not sure, couldn't find any kind of official info on this.

but for sure I'm one of those people with the newer ds as I just gotten mine weeks ago, and I've gotten it to work by changing the wifi channel to 10 (why 10 I dunno...it just works....)

give that a shot and see if it'll work, if not, then go back and read other forums on wifi connection problems, cuz probably all those other common wifi connection mistakes needs to be resolved first.

Alright I'm having a bit of trouble so I'll try to explain what's wrong and give as much detail as I can :
I'm using a R4 with 2GB Japanese Kingston MicroSD Card on a I'm assuuming fairly new DS Lite. So I've tried to use Beup but I get to Authentication but right after waiting a while it doesn't past Authentication. I've had ZERO problems with any other WiFi games (Mario Kart, Pokemon) and I've set my IP and other stuff to auto. I've tried manually inputting the IP/DNS/etc. but when I do the DS can't seem to detect the router. (Works fine when everything is just automatic) I've tried to use Beup 0.3e and the DragonM and Rein Final versions. I've patched the 0.3e with and without patching it with DLDI, no go either way. My router is a DLink DIR-625 by the way. Thanks for the help.

hi i'm completely new to this. it says i can't connect. what's SSID? and all the stuff i need to input? (IP address, gateway,subnet mask)
if there's some sort of guide or write up, please link me.
