Default [Solved] Remember to clean your controllers!

    Hey guys,

Thought I shared a problem that I fixed throughout the day today.

So I bought a dreamcast off of Craigslist, and the unit powers up fine, but when I press start on the controller, it didn't start the game!

At first I thought I had a F1 fuse blown on the controller port, so I removed it and added 2 -10ohm 1/4w resistors in parallel, but I still had the same problem!

In the end, I disassembled the dreamcast controller, and noticed there was grime behind the start button on the circuit board. Once I cleaned up that mess, I could play my games again!

Just thought I share the good news. Take care.
