NDS Nintendo To Take On Piracy In 3-D

Nintendo says when its new handheld game device with 3-D technology comes out, it will have beefed-up anti-piracy measures. For obvious reasons, the company is keeping tight-lipped on the specifics. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata says they're not only concerned about software piracy, but also a growing tolerance for it. He said, 'We fear a kind of thinking is become widespread that paying for software is meaningless.

It's a losing battle, because at some point the console will be mapped out and piracy will be booming like it currently is with the DS brand.

Im not advocating piracy, but Nintendo (along with others) are as much in the wrong as pirates.

Firstly software and hardware is stupidly overpriced. Look at the size of their profits. Most of that money comes from us! What do they really need all that money for?

Also, If they didnt lock us out of using all of the technology that we own, there would be no need to develop ways around it. Why lock it? Nintendo make some very good systems, and people want to get the most out of what they have paid for.

They forget that while they may employ some of the best in their field in the world, there are others just as good, if not better, who do not work for them and will be able to undo anything that is thrown at them.

Yes its greed rearing its ugly head again.

Its useless..there will always be someone who will undo all their efforts. If they block flashcarts and all, what will happen to the homebrew scene?

Last year nintendo tried to block you from homebrew with the DSI. Now this summer join the famed Nintendo President Satoru Iwata on the journey in the fight against piracy. IN 3D! Coming this summer during E3 2010 this June. Rated YR for Yeah Right.

    Best Block Buster advertisement yet.
