Another update to the plugin Prometheus, the module designed HrÃ*mfaxi Chinese hacker who, by means of a patch, we can start backing up games that require firmware 6.20 on the current custom firmware GEN/M33. Today's release fixes a bug in version 0.3 and fixes some issues linked to the game Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

Can someone kindly explain what I can do with this? I'm still using 5.00 M33-6 CFW. What would this plugin enable my PSP to do that it maybe can't do currently?

I think it allows one to run games that require v6.00 firmware or so without needing to upgrade. It requires dumping your own copy of a game and then patching the image. Use the WQSG_UMD progam to apply the patch.
