    Default Gaining memory back

Whenever I delete a file from my PSP via USB, The file goes away, but the memory used up stays..

Though If I delete a file through my actual PSP, the file goes away, AND the memory comes back.

The only way to fix this is to make a copy of all my files and reformat, then put the files back.. Which is really annoying.

Is there a program I can use so that I delete files via USB?

Or any other methods of doing the same thing.

maybe your memory stick is fake if it isnt, try to get it replaced (memory sticks usually have a one year warranty)

How do you disconnect the PSP? You are supposed to press circle and then disconnect the cable.

this is what i do: make a new empty folder and name it as the folder you want to delete. Replace it and the file will be replaced with the empty folder. Then delete the empty folder. You should now have your memory back.

yes. You press the "o" button then disconnect the cable.
