I believe it unbricks your psp by flashing the original firmware chip on your motherboard using it's own nand flash tool.
1. I know it will unbrick the PSP, and that you can run multiple firmwares with it, but how does it unbrick it?
2. Can you brick your PSP with it in?

but will u still be able to use multiple firmwares on it?
and can u brick your psp with it?![]()
no you can't brick your psp with up, i think you can't even brick if you dual boot / autoboot on custom
i dont have one, but is getting a TA-082 psp just luck of the draw, or what?
if u have a bricked psp, after u install the chip, when u turn it on will it just be unbricked? or do u have to do a process?
It will probably come with a firmware of it's own, so yes, effectively it will be unbricked. You can also flash a firmware update to the device.Originally Posted by psp_iz_my_system

so u could only use one of the flashes?
No, you can use both. That's the whole point of the dual boot feature.Originally Posted by psp_iz_my_system
