Nintendo DSi (v1.4E) - R4i card - Do not working!!!

After I upgraded my sons DSi (to v.1.4E), the R4i card stopped working!

Yesterday I download it the latest firmware of R4 (R4-i Eng V1_09c 20100414 NO v1_4 mark) and copy the files the card but still does not play!!!

Any ideas how can I bypass it?

Is R4i card (with no v1.4 mark on it) compatible with v1.4E of DSi?

Do I have to purchase another card?

Can I load a previous firmware in my DSi? and how?
