The red with the Lite gloss coat would be cool, but I would've freaked out if they had a kiwi green one coming. That was by far my favorite GBC color.

I totally agree with you. i have a creative zen vision:m mp3 player and it is like a kiwi color. i would totally like something that would match it. i would totally want something in green, orange, or purple. these are my faorite colors.

While the picture is missing the hinge/LED joint, the finished product will include it.

I have emailed the guy and he was very willing to tell me pretty much everything I needed to know about the shell. He also said that it in its current state it's still a prototype, the final finished version of the shell will be coming out later this month.

my ds lite is getting replaced (I hope) due to the cracked hinge and a hint of the other crack starting. It was sent off the day this was posted, maybe if this isnt too pricey and works out, I'll be interested but my girlfriend will kill me for making a fuss over the cracks.

Buy lotsa these spare parts and build cheaper DS Lites by your self. You also need the guts, but there is some stores that sells those guts, but no shells. Making spare shells is not a hardware piracy?
