Wouldn't this thing have to be incredibly affordable to NOT be a complete failure? Lets look at a few alternatives to this:

1.) Cell Phone
2.) Laptop
3.) PDA (Pocket PC)
4.) iPod

Looking at some of the competing mobile devices, this has the benefit of NO monthly service charges. Although the online features are nice, they are not exclusive to this device.

To compete, I would think this needs to be about $99.99. Does anyone know what the MSRP is set for this device?

...my mobile phone, which I've had for nearly a year, and it has almost all of the features of the Mylo.

Does that phone play Video? If so, what resolution and what codec? MPEG-4? H.264 (AVC)? Also what type of storage does it use?

Does anyone know of any other phones or portable media devices that might be BETTER than this Mylo?

it seems it would make more sense just to buy a small laptop... the price is stupid(as usual)

oh, thanks to Video_freak for backing me up yesterday, good to know most people support legitimate homebrew.
