Any hope for downgrade firmware 2.71 or 2.80??

Hic,so sad that Im stuck at firmware 2.71.Now I should upgrade to firmware 2.80 to play more demo games or continue wait downgrade for firmware 2.71.Plz help me

The chance of a 2.71/2.80 exploit is pretty slim. If you want to, then upgrade...It really won't make that much of a difference.

well 2.60 with ta-82 cannot be downgraded yet due to the hardware limitations... but user mode hombrew could happen...
2.71 is possible, the firmware can be deconstructed from the inside, thanks to decryption...
2.80 is not likely, first we need to decrypt it, then exploits can be found. it will take a long time, maybe a year...

if you want more hopes of downgrading, stay on the lowest possible firmware version. if oneday you crack and update, then thats your decision too

to the poster above me, if i was suspisious i'd say maybe you work with them (the link you gave) since he's so keen to keep up peoples visiting his site..or her site . No sexism here. I'd wait for someone with a brain ever so slightly bigger then a flys weener to find an exploit/make a downgrader personally. i'm on 2.71 btw ...

the answer is yes. there is hope for a downgrader, there is always hope, back in the day we would never have thought of a downgrader being possible at all! then the 2.0 downgrader came and people began asking (after 2.6 was released) the same question ur asking now, and the answer was always, doubtful, now how about that 2.6 downgrader so the answer is always/always will be yes. dont worrry about it, just keep to the lowest possible firmware at all times, and wait, patience is the key. And the TA-82 thing, I think it can be bypassed eventually, maybe by the use of custom 1.5 eboots to be used in the downgradde process.

sell it, spend 240$ on a 1.52 on success hk, upgrade that to 2.0, and downgrade to 1.5. best solution

Yes, you could do that or...Keep it were it is and wait for a downgrade.

You already have almost every single new feature that the Sony updates provide, and you can play every commercial game out at the moment. If you're itching for homebrew and emulation, sell it and look for a 1.50 to 2.60 PSP...but if you can be patient and wait, upgrading to 2.80 will only have you waiting much much longer for a downgrade, and for the few new features at hand with 2.80fw...I really think an update is not even worth it.
