So i believe this is a burn issue but here it goes. I have a Dreamcast with a build date of may 2000. It is a SD, NTSC U with a 1 with a circle around it. Anyways I am having trouble with CDI files. When I burn a disc every game will freeze on the load screen. They all boot up and as soon as i get through the main menu part of the game and try to play a part of it freezes in the load up. Whats strange is they always freeze up in the same spot of the load up too (different spot for every game). My original games work (except scratched ones) and an old backup copy of Phanasty Star Online works that someone game me many years ago. Am I doing something wrong here? I am extracting with Winrar, tried DJ and alcohol just can't get anything to work.
