    Buy a Phat.

    Pros:
    cheaper
    Touch screen
    WAY better commercial games
    nice battery life
    light
    easy-to-press buttons

    Cons:
    Espensive homebrew equipment.

Memory, flashcard and passme, whatever they cost on ebay or shops online

    Great games:
    Super Princess Peach
    New Super Mario Bros
    Kirby:Canvas Curse
    Super Mario 64 DS
    WarioWare:Touched!
    Nintendogs
    Jump Super Stars
    Star Fox Command
    Mario Baskets 3 on 3
    Animal Crossing Wild World
    Mario Kart DS
    Mario and Luigi-Partners in Time
    Brain Age
    Worms Open Warfare
    Metroid Prime Hunters

    ....a lot.

Needed? A Flashcart, passthrough, and maybe a media card if it's needed.

Quality? Some are better, some aren't. It depends on what you want..

May I suggest Lupidan's zelda platformer demo?

Well if your going to use the DS just for homebrew then stick to the PSP as the DS is no ware near powerful enough to handle anything more than what i would guess SNES emulation. Now the DS does have alot of quality commercial games as this is the reason i bought one. And at first the psp didn't have many quality games but it seems now comercial wise things are looking up for the psp.

Shut the fu** up, I think this place is mad.

You say you can get SNES Games on DS and you say about trying to download lots of stuff like StarFox Command ands that isnt out yet. I am reporting DCEMU to Nintendo.

Easy, the DS has about 50 times the games the PSP has. Psp relies on movies too much.
