nice theory very interesting
Considering the sheer number of trojans, rootkits, viruses and the like on the net these days I think something is going to happen oneday.
Is it possible since many of these malicious programs are self propagating that they will evolve much like the theory of evolution.
When these programs reproduce themselves and transmit to other computers sometimes data gets corrupted or slightly changed. Most of the time these changes adversly affect the program but what if during the millions of online transactions that occur one of these changes actually causes a change that is benificial to the program or makes it behave in an unexpected way.
The sheer number of transmissions of these malicious self propagating programs makes this highly likely in my opinion.
We could possibly see the birth of programs that humans can no longer decipher or control.
It only takes a few occurances of this to give birth to something that hides from us dynamically.
This could also cause the birth of programming languages that only infected computers understand, not humans.
What if????
it would have to do so within the hardware checksums (I think hard drives do this and I know most BIOS es do)
It's also possible a human may have already written a program to do this.A program in the BIOS would have to be really small right roko?So your saying it would have to fool the md5checksums.
this is interesting. we might see the effects of this theory if we dont blow ourselves up![]()
Yeah but if we blow our selves up the internet will probably survive,It was made to withstand nuclear war.T2 anyone!
do we seriously have web servers that can withstand the effects of a nuclear bomb?
Probably not, but the governments do underground.
ya, you got me. what if the whole planet explodes from the inside out. with all the weapons we are capable of making and putting in the wrong hands, who knows![]()
