psp 1.5 won't play umd's

yo i've downgraded my psp 2.6 to 1.5 and it wont play umd's anymore. is this normal????

and what are all the things that i can do with a psp 1.5 except putting emulators.

yes. use devhook to emulate 2.71, that will run them

but then it will change my firmware to 2.7 right. and i don't wanna upgrade it again

no, it only emulates 2.71. once you turn it off, it will be 1.5 again...
