ps3 PS Jailbreak has been gutted and exposed!

Below are images of a gutted PS Jailbreak that we posted news about yesterday. The PS Jailbreak has been gutted and torn apart. Such a little device can open a whole new world.

Is this just a normal USB stick with files installed or is there something more to it and looks are deceiving?

Fingers, toes & whatever pointy things you got crossed the files can work on a normal flash drive.

I wonder what Sony will try to do to stop this?

Last time they shut down the other OS feature... maybe this time they will disable the use of the ps3's usb ports with a firmware update! lol

It's their own fault for making consoles so easy to hack using just a battery and a flash drive. MS f***ed up a bit with the dvd fw but at least you forced to invalidate the warranty and possibly fry the thing soldering your jtag kit on. Long may Sony underestimate the hacking scene.

    Thumbs up

Nice one bongdong province of china Xou Xzing will be very proud.

Hopefully now we will see some progress in the ps3 homebrew scene… ps2 support enabled….

Many in the past have speculated it now hopefully we will see it, I am on about wii fully emulated with enhancement (1080p) on ps3 with online support, and Xbox360 fully emulated on the ps3 with true 1080p (you can kiss goodbye to that old 3RROD junk)

Like symbal said, fingers, toes & whatever pointy things (and hanging things including balls) you got crossed the files can work on a normal flash drive.

I wonder if this used any part of what that iphone guy hacked?

seems the main purpose of this is to play pirate games. yes i like the idea of playing my mame and neogeo games on my ps3 or even having a dc/saturn emulator for it but its inevitable that this will be used by pirates 90% of the time. I guess if they cant block it through fw they'll just go for a new physical build.

I think PS2 emulation is top of my wishlist , and i'm sure mame will be on there too. Who knows it may go the way of the PSP with it's own CFW?
