Default An offer I don't want you to refuse...

OK, in light of all these great announcements recently regarding PS1 and N64 emulation on PSP, I feel there is one system that hasnt gotten a fair shake.

    VIRTUAL BOY!!!!!

    I want it....you want it.....soooooo

Right now I can offer some cash ($100.00 U.S.) and maybe something else....i dunno yet. I am broke, moving, and trying to save money.

I am serious though. 100$ for a working virtual boy emu. If anyone else wants to contribute that would be splendid.

I am really surprised that no one has made a Virtual Boy emu for the PSP yet. I know it wasn't very popular, but it has some awesome games! I really hope that someone will make one in the near future.

It takes thousands of nuts to hold a car together, but it takes only one to shatter it across the highway

Duct Tape is like the force. It has a light and dark side, and it holds the world together

wouldnt it be pretty hard to emulate the screen (if not impossible) because it used different leds to draw a 3d like image to the screen. I think the rest of the system would be easy to emulate. But I am not sure.

that would require everyone who wanted to play it to have a pair of polarized 3d glasses...

brainpan: Could you point me in the direction to a (few?) Virtual Boy emulator's already out?

I remember one being worked on for the PC a long time ago. It was around the time PinMAME (visual pinmame was great! pinball emulation!) was getting popular.

wraggster: Are you talking about the Allegro SDK? If so, then I would imagine Virtual Boy source already exists for the emu and is in allegro. Depending, it could be adapted. Would be a fun emulator to at least see it's code for.
