kernel mode to perhaps unlock ver. changer!?

hey guys, we now know that there was the downgrader for the version 2.50 and 2.60 psp's. Devhook now may never come out with another version due to the fact that 2.80 has not been decrypted and the stupid legal issues with sony.

How about this-since we have found a way to access kernel mode in firmware 2.60, why dont we make a version changer (like pspset or the wab one) and just make it say ver 9.54 or whatever and perhaps run games a little longer!!! What we would do is simply this run devhook and do the exploit through there meaning we wont need to decrypt 2.80 firmware, we wont even need to emulate it!!! it will be like the 2.00 firmware users who were able to make it say 3.00 but only this would not only benefit us 1.50 users but the 2.60 users who cant downgrade, are afraid to, and give them a fighting chance to eventually downgrade while playing new games. We NEED A VERSION CHANGER FOR FIRMWARE 2.60

That would work as long as Sony doesn't add codecs for games like on 2.00.

He just needs to use limewire or bittorrent to distrubute his stuff.

and i am not doubting dark alex's and boosters abilities i both think and hope they will release more for devhook but i think we need to look at all the possabilities here.
