iR Shell. 5.2 Released

Hey everyone... after a long hiatus, Ahman releases v. 5.2 of the amazing iR Shell app.

Version 5.2 Release Note:

This releaes only adds support to CFW 5.50GenD3. If you're still on 5.00M33-6, there is no need to update your iR Shell.

Special thanks to:

Installation Instructions:
- This is a complete installation. You'll need to delete your existing /IRSHELL folder and copy this one over.
- Make sure to run ms0:/IRSHELL/PATCH/5.00/btcnfpatch.prx after installation for CFW 5.50GenD3.

Hmmm... irShell is the only good reason I have to dust off my old PSPs. They've been buried at the bottom of a cardboard box for several months now (rendered somewhat obsolete by a couple of successively more powerful smartphones with touchscreens).

I'm glad to see Ahman is still alive and kicking.

Hah! "One of"? It was the best reason to keep an old/original PSP with IR port, and greatly extended the otherwise short-lived interest I had in my foolish purchase(s).

I'm considering reviving one of my old PSPs just to be used as a universal remote.

Couldn't agree more: this apps really transcends the PSP. It may sound exagerated, but the number of features added, combined with the convenience of the interface are pretty amazing !

I know that I'm repeating myself over the years but this makes you think 'wow, my PSP was a stupid gameboy before I installed this app'.

Oh yay, I've been waiting ages for this - finally I can have IrShell running on both cfw v5.00 M33-6 and v5.50 GEN firmwares!
