OK--tried to put in the umd w/o loading devhook, to try to get update screen. No dice. Now dl network update, just to see if it would let me actually do it through dh. I'll report back w/ the results.

i think unflashing would be risky because if it doesnt work your screwed it will just be a complete brick

Yes, I tried fw unflasher, but unfortunatly it didn't work. I read in a FAQ this may be b/c I tried ti flash a 2.0 over the cfw w/o removing it first.

It is HarleyG's 0.2 cfw. I emailed HarleyG himself. But he didn't have any suggestions.

i've used it and as long as u plug in ur adapter to the psp u'll be fine

It did indeed dl the 2.80 update from network. Is NOT installed. Just in the games folder for now as a last resort b4 a trade in.(if necessary). It may not even work...not given up yet though...
