    START+SELECT = Emulator Menu

L+R+SELECT = Service menu - You can configure the arcade games as if you were the service guy at an arcade, such as how many credits you get for one coin, difficulty, number of rounds in fighting game, etc.

I doubt that anyone might agree with me, but I think the save states can ruin a game.

I know its up to the person who uses it, but I find that if I do, I'll just save a reload a game until I beat it and then I wont play it any more.

Using the dip switches I turned off all of the continue options, and instead upped the life limit so I only get one shot at completing a game.

If I get sick of that, as I haven't completed anything yet, I'll probably update to the save state version.

It would be handy true, on the bus and such...oh dilemmas dilemmas!!

agreed, for this CPS2 emu, it doesn't need save state. On those often annoyingly long/hard console games save state is a must. But these arcade games are designed to be hard/easy enough so that it can be played and finished on 1 credit, if the player has enough practice playing the game. Yea, boo to the save state on CPS-2...

Yea I agree with you it is a dilemma. Although I also get bored of a game if all I ever do is play the first level over and over again.

For example Ghost & Gobins ... without a save state you have to sit through and play the game twice through to finally complete it.

This is by far my favorite emu!!! Much thanks to NesterJ!!! Can't wait to see what the future holds! What settings do you guys use to get the best playability from Marvel -vs- Capcom? Thanks in advance for the info.

    Thanks Nj,
I actually like the save state. Could have been handy on the arcade machine for those times you were playing and got kicked out because they were closing. lol.

i hope he releases the next version with a timer so we can trick the rom into thinking it's been played for a month (to time unlock certain fighters - SFA3 BALROG for example)
