Is Marvel vs Capcom slow because of the Emulator or is it just the PSP, where it can't handle the game?

The emulation speed is good, but psp ram is insufficient... this cause some lag.

Try to delete the sound(in rominfo.dat), this can help.

I'm not sure how u do it with NJs emulator... but my advice would be to just buy Street Fighter Alpha3max. Its one of my favourite games that I own and it doesnt stutter when its playing, and you get to choose whoever you want right from the start.

There arent that many good PSP games out there... but this is one of em (and its better than the aracade version with loads more options)!

I agree Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max is a MUST own, it has a ton more characters then the arcade (Eagle, Yun, Balrog ect) Plus all the extra modes you can play, survival mode a mode where you can build up your character, a tag mode all kinda of stuff. Plus Ad-Hoc mode!!! Beat the crap out of your friend or vis versa. Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max is a cheap game too I got mine at Frys when it came out for $29.99, hell you can prolly get it used (if you can find one) for less then that.

I think the only option with SFA3 to get the time released characters would be to save each and every time you play, supposedly that would make the game be continously playing (more less :P )

No doubt sfa3max is better, but it takes 5x the size of the cps2 rom

btw if you get it to work with this method don't forget to post the save
