even if there is no release tommorow I hope they at least give us an update on the progress they've made and maybe a video or two to convince us all.

I don't mind waiting a bit longer for this emu but some official news is long overdue.

I'll belieive this once I see it for myself ...running on my psp. But to be honest I never ever thought we'd get to where we are now with the home brew scene (CPS2, NGE, CDZ, GBA, Dadeaus N64 etc etc).

    Fingers crossed.

I am not one that believes that anyone owns us anything. I never complain about a currently available emu regardless if I think it is good or not good. I think that if someone is willing to spend their time to create something for free, then they should get praised.

However, when people announce vaporware because noone mentions them in conversations as a top program anymore, it becomes irritating. I am holding any opinion till tomorrow. However, if there is no release tomorrow, then I would love it if no mention was made of this until it is released. (if ever)

I believe that if you did open your mouth about something that is not currently in existance, then you do owe the peope feedback. This is why some of the programmers who work on this project are not liked. This has happened in the past with them. I would hate to associate PSMonkey with them as well, since he is very fair with everyone.

I think people will eventually learn not to work with certain programmers.

In either case, I am hoping something comes out tomorrow. If it does, I will provide a full apology. But as of the moment I believe this to be vaporware. I just wish that sites would refraim from posting this type of news. I know that more clicks equals more dollars, but I hold this site much higher regard then all other PSP sites.

See, that's exactly what I said yesterday. "If they delay it people will start to sound like they owe them something".

Keep something in mind, NO ONE IS OBLIGATED TO GIVE OR TELL YOU ANYTHING.

You could "want" news but you can't REQUEST news. Please, if you DO want a PS1 emulator, don't do stuff like that.

I know if I were the one doing it I wouldn't want that kind of "support".

    edit: typo

    Hey Tinnus,

I have crazy respect for you from the Zodiac scene. However, the one programmer in general on this PSP release has historically been know to mess with the sceen.

I have never demanded anything in my many years here and emuboards. I think the work of all of the devs is great. You guys kept the zodiac alive and the PSP alive. All I am saying is that this thing smelt like a fake from the begining.

All that I believe is that there is no need for rumors. Yoyo never anounced his snes emu in advanced, strm never announced his n64 in advaned and so on. However this was announced with much hype. Why?

One simple reason, because people who aren't deserving of credit wanted to be included in all of the talk about who are great devs.

This may sound wrong, since I have not developed anything. However, I think that noone should announce anything if they can't prove it. It is just annoying to read crap like that.

I personally am nuetral to a PS1 emu. The way I look at it is I still have a good 100 games to beat between all the current emus that are out.

I just think announcing vaporware just to get a developers name posted takes away from all the work that all the other good developers do. There is plenty of other people who deserve props, besides the one developer on this project I am refering to.

I can't see any reason to say "I am releasing x emulator in 2 months." The way I feel is, just release the damm emu and stfu. Let your work do your talking. Noone ever questions good work, they question rumors and vaporware.

So I think the guys on this emu maybe great eventually when this is released. But there was no reason to announce this, besided to get peoples hopes up to early and take credit away from other devs doing great work for us.
