How do u know if ur pp is made from a factory i saw that even if u dont have a ta 082 model u cant downgrade form version 2.6 beacause its a factory model what does tht mean?

If you have a TA-082 motherboard you cannot downgrade. To find out if you have one, open your UMD drive and look in the top right corner where you see a little green. If there is writing there, then it's a TA-082. If there is no writing, then you can downgrade.

there is no writing on the right hand side but there is on the left and side

Yes. If it's on the top left hand side, your OK. I'm happy that you'll be able to downgrade.

Wait a sec i thought the writing was always on the right or none at all.

Because it will be removable. LOL.

Any ways you need to see in to the top right side inside of the PSP umd slot.The board is green.

If the writing is on the top left side, then it's ok.

Check your PSP Acidburn05.

there is no writing i repeat no writing on the right hand side but there is in the left hand side and acooriding to video freak i will be able to i hope wot do u think?

I'm 100% sure you don't have a TA-082.

Oh i agree with the freak 120% your psp is downgradable. I was just messing with the freak. But he is totaly rightthe only psp with no writing on eather side are the true virgin psp 1.0 or 1.50 factory.
