PadrinatoR posted a new app for the DS that lets you Control Winamp from your DS, heres the info:
Requirements:
- .NET Framework 2.0 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en)
- You must have the port 32123 UDP opened in your router.
Step by step guide:
1) Install .NET Framework 2.0 (if it's not installed yet)
2) Run the server app (DSAmpServer.exe). If you have Windows Firewall enabled, it will ask you if you want to lock the application. You must choose Unlock. It doesn't matter if Winamp isn't opened, because you can open and close it from NDS
3) Switch on you DS and run DSAmp. It will ask you for host's IP, enter it and click OK.
Enjoy it!

I copy the DSAmp file i need to use to my flashcard
Run DSAmpServer.exe on my computer
Turn on my DS and run DSAmp
how do i make sure that port 32123 UDP opened in my router?
You'll need to connect to your router and checkOriginally Posted by fast3kgt
I tried it and it works great, id love it though if you could set a folder on your computer to search for playlists so you wouldnt have to get up and change them
:Edit:
The DSamp server crashes when i try to open up Winamp from my DS, wouls it have something to do with WinAMP not being installed into the default directory?

i wish i knew how...
WinXP/2000:
Start>Run>command (or cmd, not sure)
then type "ipconfig" and then look at your Default Gateway, type it in a browser with a http:// and youll get connected to it im pretty sure
I monkey'd with my routers settings and now i cant get my ds to connect and show me its ip! at least it used to do that!
Nice app. but it would be nice to have the DS playing songs to?
whoa.. i thought that was a player...
not just a control =P
