Super Metroid Controls

Does anyone else find them extremely awkward? I can't seem to find a comfortable way to dash while shooting or jumping.

Any recommendations on better control schemes?

it feels right to me, but the mario series is really uncomfortable, especially in smw 3

Do you mind telling me what emulator and what settings you use? Runs pretty slow on mine and I bleeding loved the game when I was a nipper!

Runs fine for me on TYL speed 333, PSP Acel and Accur. No more then a 1-2 frame skip but auto works best. Feels like the real thing to me and I beat it back when it was UOSNES9X not TYL
