Hi guys about a year ago I modded my Wii with a Wasabi Dx. Everything was fine apart from having to burn a lot of discs.....lots of coasters

After about 9 months with not really using the Wii I am kinda lost. From reading around it looks like you can softmod the wii to run games off a USB hard drive. This looks great as it reduces the DVD cost and time. What should I be looking for? I don't know what firmware I am on but it won't be high.

Should I softmod my Wii? Is my Wasabi Dx redundant now? I want to get into more homebrew as well love the idea of the Wii playing all my old games

Does having my Wii modded with a Wasabi Dx have any benefits over a softmod? Will I be able to go online, not really a problem since I haven't been using it
