yea, use in7ane's tool (second link i gave) to download the maps and to get poi's. it can be a bit confusing at first but once you figure it out it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm using the GPSlim236 witch is whats recommended since it is what deniska is using. just remember if you plan on getting something else then make sure its been tested and works and i think that you would also need a specially compiled version of mapThis!.

My dad got a tom tom gps yesterday and im interested in setting "map this" up on my psp. I have already downloaded maps from google and it works really good. But now i want to set it up to work with the gps but have no idea how my psp and gps communicate (is it wireless or through a cable?) could you explain how to get it up.

hello i got the same problem ! can't find anywhere how to use google map tool, i mean there are soooooo many settings and check boxes don't have any idear which one is right. please someone make some screenshots ! please !
the other problem is i can see one map in mapthis and zoom in put , but i can't get any signals for gps-290 or the arrow where i am. the green-programm can find 10 sattelits and fix 4-6 of them, but in map this nothing happens. what have i done wrong ?. sry 4 posting it here but i cant open new thread

I have psp 290 with 1.5 version of psp.
it seems like the mapThis cant find my gps itself.
when i started the mapthis program and start GPS,
arrow goes into left corner.
any idea to fix this ?
