I am going to have to give this a try.
$#@!yDick1969 has updated PiMPStreamer to version 0.7. Here is what his website had to say.

I am going to have to give this a try.
I love it I love it I love it =D
i'd like to see 2 things perhaps in an other update,
An option to make the buffers bigger
and some tho see how good the wifi connection is![]()
am I wrong, or this still doesn't play files on the memory card?
my problem is that I don't have wifi, and my only option (except for converting the movies) is stream through usb or from a local file. but afaik there are no such options![]()
I have 3 network configuration setup. When you start PiMPStreamer and can select one of the 3, the up and down movement is so touchy it skips over the second one. you just can't pick it from the network selection list.
Other then that I removed the 3rd one for now so I only have two to choose from. And it is AWESOME! What a great addition. Makes it real easy to go back and forth from home to work.![]()
You can stream through USB using iR Shell.Originally Posted by xiringu
Awesome app btw!
is it safe to assume all future releases will work with firmware v2.60?
hooray
One of the greatest homebrew apps on any console Ive used.
Mores codecs? Fantastic, have been a litle irritated lately by the increasing number of files pimpstreamer hasnt been able to play.
Could you implement a bar that shows us how much it has streamed so we can pause the playback and wait for it to fully load. This would eliminate all choppiness. Let's go Red Sox!
Cool, couldnt figure it out to start with. Now holding down circle and fiddling with the joypad adjusts zoom and aspect ratio.
