having a lot of problems with gb emus

okk, so within the past two days i've wasted about four discs on gb emulators for dreamcast. i tried booting them up with both demo menu and dchakker. one disc is recognized but when i click open in dchakker nothing happens. all of the discs are recognized as audio. i don't understand what im doing. everything is being burned from boot dreams. what i want to know is how to make my own gnuboy or boob!boy emulation disc with my own custom roms.
