I know you're desperate to play it but your post doesn't really help. Do you even have GTA and the Eloader installed?

You've already answered your own question by saying that its for v1.0 and 1.5 PSP's and that you have a v2.6 PSP. So what is it that you are asking for exactly? How to downgrade your PSP? Its quite a complicated procedure and depends if you have the TA-082 motherboard or not.

Read up on the subject and then ask for help if you are still unsure. I would highly recommend that if you can downgrade that you do.

If you can't find that number then that good news as it means you don't have the TA-82 motherboard and can downgrade if you wish.

I'm not going to force you to downgrade but you can use a program called Devhook when you have a 1.5 PSP to make your PSP think its a 2.7 PSP and therefore have all the functions a 2.7 PSP has.

The advantages of a 1.5 is that you don't need to use the GTA Eloader method to boot homebrew and that the Homebrew applications will have access to slightly more memory.

If you want to stivk with 2.6 and use a GBA emulator then you can try ZX-81's PSPVBA

    Download it from this thread:

(make sure you pick up the 2.x version)

You should downgrade its SO much harder to use this stuff on 2.6 and most of the good stuff doesnt work using the eLoader and it has various compatability problems and all kinds of errors that you wont see with a 1.5 psp.
