Default NDS Homebrew over a router?

Being one with little money, and even lesser want to go out and buy even more technology, I was wondering if there is a possibility to use WiFiMe over a router rather than a PCI or PCMIA card. Before everyone jumps down my throat yelling "NO!" Hear me out! If Nintendo can allow demo downloads at their Hotspots why can't we duplicate that with a multiboot? Possibly changing the firmware on the router, or sending the multiboot over the network to the DS. If Nintendo can do it, why can't the homebrew society? I'd really love some feedback on this. Just to let ya know, I don't want to code anything, just suggesting!

I dont fully understand your question? But I can access internet on my DS using my router (Linkses WRT54G).

    Hope that helps.
