I don't know how it happens but perhaps if the screen isn't of good build quality, it probably may be a factor why you're getting a load of dead pixels. In that case, there's not alot one can do about it unless GamePark sort the problem out.
I recently had to send my gp2x wiz to GPH to get the screen replaced. It had those horrible growing black spots on the screen. I thought it was just me until I found this forum.
My question is this: I love my gp2x, but this seems to be such a common problem, I'm worried about it happening again. Is there anything I can do to prevent it? I'd be happy to buy a protective case if that'll help. Does anyone know what causes this problem?
thanks!
Patrick

Well, I sent my Gp2x back to GPH and got it back today. The screen seems to be good as new, but I am worried it'll happen again. Does anyone out there know the failure rates of these screens?
thanks!
Patrick
I need help! I need to send in my Wiz to replace the screen due to the black spots and I can't find out where to send it. the GPH page is entirely in Korean and I can't get it to translate in Google. Someone please tell me where I need to send my Wiz and who I need to contact about getting it fixed. I had it for 3 months before the screen crapped out on me
