how do u get a custom firmware? and how do i disable my network update

all you have to do is install harleygs custom firmware I can upload it for you if you like it has a read me and everything and you can use x flash or something to make your firmware version 9.99 so it will never upgrade.

Edit: I think you can use Xflash to disable your updates aswell its either that or PSPset

im making a tutorial on custom firmware today so check back. x-flash kerrang build 5 will do it, but dont mod your psp until you have custom firmware.
