help with roms

I must be a huge idiot, but when I put the .nes files in the "roms" folder on dream nes and burn it everything works fine but the game list never shows up. I have all the roms in the folder as single files and not in a subfolder. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

ok, wow big user error on my part I downloaded dreamsnes not recognizing the snes. Excuse my stupidity can someone delete or lock this?
