    NDS DSDoom 1.0.0 for MaxMediaDock

Owners of the MaxMedia Dock can now be thankful that another coder has released a version of Doom that supports the device just for you, heres what Brumi posted:

    Hi Guys,

after some changes to the source-code and with support from MisterSentient i got a Version of DSDoom running with Max Media Player on my Max Media Dock (CF-Card, not the HDD).

In order to get DSDoom running you first of all need to get it from here and follow the installation instructions.
    Then grab my modified nds-file.
To get everything running place all the files in the root-directory of your cf-card (dont forget your wad-file).
Due to some compatibility-issues with the Max Media Player you need to rename the "dsdoom_mmd.nds" to "bootme.nds". Otherwise it won't work.
And then - at last - just turn on your NDS and enjoy a great game.

Thanks to the guys from DSDoom for making such a superb port and MisterSentient for his support.

What hardeware are you using? So far I haven't heard of any Problems from Max Media Dock users. Did you rename your wad-file to doom.wad?

Right now I'm working on a version without needing the bootme-fix and keeping all files in the directory "/games/dsdoom/" instead of "/". If anyone is interested let me know.

I'm happy to hear it runs now. Maybe you corrupted your previous cf-card?

That would be really cool, because i have more things to do with my DS than just play Doom, if you have even a prototype boot me fix if you could just post it or some thing that would ROCK!
