I think it refers to the beginning when you load the Pkmn rom. The computer says something about a dead-battery and therefore the time-triggered events would not be happen (disabled).

exactly. on VBA for pc its fixable from one of its options, on here this emu, its not. and im just wondering if theres an ip patch for it. if not, thats cool too as the game is still great.

well in pokemon LG & FR i never got that error, i haven't had any luck getting emerald, sapphire or ruby to run, they load i just get a white screen

Normally when this happens it means it has a hacked intro.

I would just find a version that hasnt been hacked.
