    Yea but the new games require you to upgrade no? the version i was running was 1.60 i believe so i dunno if that would have worked either.

    I take it you were referring to 1.50?

    1.50 is basically the best PSP firmware. It can emulate firmware 2.71 so that you can play new games, while still enjoying homebrew.

    Updating from 1.50 to 2.80 is the worst possible move you could have made.

    Upgrading your firmware in hopes of running homebrew is something I haven't seen done before.

    He means 2.60 (remember he called 2.8 1.8 )
