Default disable auto umd launch in emulated FW

Does anyone know of a way to switch off the auto umd launching in your emulated (devhook) firmware?

I have it switched off in 1.50 and would really like the same in the 2.71 I run

Is it bad form to answer my own thread?

OK I did some digging around on several 'less reputable' homebrew sites, and found that there is a bolt on module for devhook .46 that switches off auto umd booting and also adds a back to 1.50 reboot by pressing home+start.

    The module is called:

    vShex mod v0.3

Real easy to install and set up. Highly recommended to any devhook user

Does it work only on 0.46?

not sure..I only have 0.46. I dont see a reason for it not to work on earlier versions. you are basically swapping out one prx for another and adding a line to one of the .txt config files within the KD folder of the firmware you want to modify.

Just rename the original prx to old.vshex.prx before you copy in the new one and you can always go backwards if it doesnt work
