    Default can custom firmwares brick ur psp

    i am thinking of installing a custom firmware on to my psp for the recovery thing

    could it brick ur psp?

    whats a really good one?

    Anything that goes into your PSP's flash memory has a possibility of bricking your PSP. But now they are getting realy safe if you install them correctly.

    Harleyg's custom firmware is the one I used. It is very safe, provided you have the psp fully charged and have the psp plugged in to a mains supply. Use that one. The process takes about one second and the chanses of bricking the console are nil.

    ninja i dont know exactly how to work recovery mode, mostly cuz i haven't needed it yet but from a hard start off, press up on the power button and quickly put it into hold mode, recovery mode pops up after a sec or two
