    Default Help with vcd's

    can n e 1 please give me the name of a program than can convert full dvd's, with sound onto vcd's (my own store bought dvd's, im on dial up, come on) and do i need a chip or something to play them like the xbox?

    I use the Tsunami Mpeg Encoder: www.tmpgenc.net

    For GypPlay I use this template with TMPGenc.

    I haven't tested any homebrew VideoCD players yet, but both players that once were available at www.yesasia.com/? are great! Maybe www.Play-Asia.com still have them ?

    And no, you don't need a chip or anything like that.

    there is good info on the VCD wiki article. By the way could a VCD stamped on a regular CD be used to give a game more room for things? the wiki article talked of fitting 100min + of vid on a CD.
