    Default Switching to 1.5

I will be trading my friend his 1.5 psp, for my 2.6 TA-082 psp.
    I need help.
I've been with the homebrew scene since i bought the psp, about a month and a half ago, but only the 2.6 stuff.
I currently own 4 games, GTA: LCS, Lemmings, Lumines, and X-men legends 2.
My problem is, i dont know where to begin to be able to run these games on my 1.5 that im getting.
I have a vague idea of how the 1.5 homebrew works, but thats about it.
I know of devhook and harley g, but i have no clue how to install or even use them.
Could someone help me in this problem.

you will need 2 folders to run homebrew on a 1.5, unless you use harleyg's custom firmware

Also, how could you get someone to trade you a 1.5? Doesn't he know what he is giving away?!? I wish I knew some stupid people, like that!

Hey Roaddogg..! You're that guy in the army, right ? That figures how you can get that trade

I think you'll gonna need devhook to be able to play your UMDs.

For Homebrew (especially emu) it's all like drag and drop to your PSP/GAME folder.. Make sure you got the both folders (normal and %)

Well, im actually in the navy.
The guy that traded doesnt use his psp that much, so he wasnt planning on using homebrew.
I ran into a problem though, its actually upgraded to 2.00 but i've been reading that its simple to downgrade to 1.5

If it's just plain 2.0 then it should be simple (or at least it only took me 15 or so minutes). Just find the guide (this site has one), check the required condition and download all the files necessary, and good luck..

another set of questions if you guys dont mind.
What is the risk of downgrading from 2.00?

Also, how about from v2.6 non TA-082, a friend that works with me is going to buy one for $100 and he wants my advice whether its risky or not. This one was factory 1.5

Also, which is a better FW emu. Harleyg or DevHook? In terms of compatability/speed/etc..

    Thanks again guys

    *woops* almost forgot
When you use custom firmware, devhook or harleyg, can you still access homebrew from the xmb like it was a 1.5 or do you have to use the eloader?

For 2.0 There's always a risk.. Many guides can only dare to guarantee a 99% success. Thought it's perhaps an escape plan for unlucky downgrader.. That extra 1% can really messed you up

No experience on 2.6 downgrading and harleyg.. But i think Devhook is the most popular..
