Usually we only hand out warnings to flamers. But insulting Fanjita will get you a temporary ban. Come back after 24 hours. Just make sure you've grown up a little before making your second post.

is that the only account that logs on at that ip (if you can check)

(notice post count = 1 and date registered = august, may have known he'd get banned so started another account)

a ban is uauly an IP ban to prevent that sorta thing

IP bans are bad, people that get dynamic IPs could be banned because of someone else.

I have had this problem a lot of times in IRC channels.
