Default Contacting Sony About PSP Connect.... Failure..

    My message towards Sony:
    Message from Consumer:
I recently noticed that the PSP connect site endorsed by
    Sony(http://psp.connect.com/index.php)
currently has a link to PSPupdates off on the right side column. This
site is by-far the epitome of
homebrew on the PSP and supports homebrew applications INCLUDING
Devhook that eliminates the need to
update the PSP. What I ask is, why is this site linked there? Is it
    simply ad space that Sony
grabbed up? Concidering Sony's firm position on homebrew applications,
I am confused at the sight of
this... Could you please identify its purpose?

This also leads me to believe that Sony is accepting homebrew in its
    next update... which, in my
humble opinion, is a great idea to boost sales and to give the PSP an
edge on the handheld market of
which it is slowely loosing grasp of.

This ad is also misleading. Are you attempting to "trick" people into
buying a PSP that hope their
system can run a simple homemade game of Tick-Tac-Toe or simply listen
    to internet radio? Your
handheld is supposed to be multimedia specific and yet with each update
    you block HUNDREDS of fans'
hard work in bringing more enjoyment to your handheld. Sure there are
    currupt homebrew applications,
but those programs shouldn't ruin the time and work put into the more
    loyal homebrew applications
that bring everyone closer to your handheld.

A recent poll in your very forum has suggested that close to 1/5 of PSP
    owners have firmware version
1.0-1.5, heavily suggesting that they themselves use homebrew. 20% or
    more of your userbase most
likely currently have a homebrew application on their PSP and that
    suggests that maybe this is
something to look into. Would Sony not want to appease that 20%?

As a response, I would rather have my questions answered than be sent a
    link containing the newest
    firmware update.

Thankyou, Please answer precisely and truthfully.

...........and of course... "Sony" is a "****"... doesn't answer any of my questions and gives me the response I SPECIFICALLY asked them not to...

I guess each of us see things in different views.. In this case, ours and Sony's.

For us, it's a $250/$300 machine. For Sony it's a billion of $ invesment at stakes. Sony has a bigger burden than us to make it success (= make a nice profit out of it).

There's must be reasons why Sony keep shutting off homebrew. For them, good reasons that perhaps we'll never know because we're not Sony.

We mad because we (homebrew community) feel neglected, disowned. But don't you think Sony also has the right to be mad with those Iso-related applications as they must also protect game-developers (and the gaming industry in a whole).
