Yer dude, thats why I said there'd be alot of wasted buttons, cause they'd have to keep PSP1 owners in mind, therefore they couldn't give the face buttons functions ingame, incase the PSP1 needed those buttons for say, looking around, which is what the second analog nub would be for.Originally Posted by stotheamuel
It's hard enough mapping keys for the PSP, without having to worry about a PSP1 AND PSP2 set of controls. How about just not doing a redsign, and having a completely new PSP2. Remember, games aren't supposed to be backwards compatible, the consoles themselves are.
PSP2 Games - PSP1 Console = No
PSP1 Games - PSP2 Console = Yay!
Ofcourse, then it won't really be a redesign.
