So one day I dropped my Nintendo DS Lite and now the bottom screen is entirely white, no matter what I do. The top screen works like it should, the bottom screen still works as a touch screen although you would have to know where to touch.
I was wondering what the real problem is, so I can get the appropriate replacement part and fix it.
P.S. I've considered replacing the bottom screen and/or the ribbon connecting it to the motherboard. I've had experience replacing the Nintendo DS Lite case, and the power switch.
I've searched and searched and people with the same problem haven't found an answer.
If the bottom screen still reacts to touch, then I think it's the LCD display that's gone. If that's the case, replace the broken part. Just make sure not to throw away the actual touch panel (aka the digitiser) that's stuck on the front of the LCD.
