what is real time?![]()
do you think exophase should put real time as a feature in the next version of his gba emulator?this would correct alot of games like pokemon.
games like pokemon said "internal battery is dry. The game can be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur". with real time turned on (this was a feature in vba for the pc) the game would run normally wihout saying the qoute.
Some pokemon games have internal clocks that if set correctly, will correspond to the actual time in your time zone. I don't know why you would need a correct internal clock for any of the GBA pokemon games, though, because they don't have night and day (like Gold and Silver for the GBC do)
so you mean that with gpsp, it wont turn into night time in pokemon ruby?
some events dont happen like growing of berrys and it kinda gets annoying to have to go through that part every time i wanna play a pokemon game
Basically the internal clock runs all things time-based in various gameas. When it runs dry, the game is still playable, but no time based events will occur. Such as trainers rechallenging you after a certain amount of time. So yes, I do think he should make real time, after he puts in a recreated BIOS.
Miniviews:
Spoiler!
i hadn't noticed that in my pokemon games, but then again, this is still a beta, so it's still missing some features

I'd say work on getting more compatability and speed before focusing on specific game needs.
My DS flash cart doesn't even do real time... well last time I checked, I haven't updated the firmware in a while![]()
