How do I install a theme into a Devhook emulated firmware?
I have a 1.5 and a couple nice backgrounds I made in ps Ill share in a minute. My questions are...
Will this work in the original xmb or just the emulated devhook xmb? Does the background image still have to be 300 x 170 like with psp personalize? Thanks for any help you can give.
Heres some backgrounds I made that you are free to use, you'll only see them here..
(note:some googled pics were used) I also have their templates is anyones interested making their own.
edit: Ok, I figured everything out. I'm trying to put together an Aliens theme for you guys. As soon as I get a compatible wav I'll share. How do I upload zips btw?
Alien Themes
There are 2 themes. They are similar but everything about them is a bit different from each other. I just ended up with 2 of everything.![]()
New stuff includes custom made backgrounds, bootsounds, and fonts. I left the lines for the spacey effect but I didn't change any of the names. Credits are all in the readme.
Download it here.
Sorry for the double post btw, my bad.
The Alien themes rock but im still getting a problem where my homebrew icons are all fuzzy and a different colour.
Yeah I think I have always had that problem, even when I used psppersonalize. i could especially tell with the quake port, the icons and pics are black. Everything works fine though.
I have the black theme set on my psp and when i change months the background is all white. Is this normal? and changed back to dec. and everything looks good? but i really want thta black theme can someone please help?
How are you changing the months? Maybe the wallpaper is just set up for December? Make sure it is named "BG" and it should work any months. If it is called 12, it will only work in Dec.
@Labowl, I figured out the problem with everyone getting those fuzzy icons. They were originally gifs that were converted to pngs so they have a limited color pallette and will show up messed up when you use a background image. Any ones that I have made from gifs all look like that, the ones I made that were bmps, jpegs, or already pngs work fine.
Basically just make a new icon for it and it should be fine as long as the original image wasn't a gif.
Cheers thanks for the help.
